WMSL has been appraised to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 on the 18th of November 2008. Achieving this gives WMSL a huge competitive advantage in the development and maintenance of its products and services.
WMSL selected GPI (Global Process Innovations) Asia, a globally known Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) Appraisal service provider, to achieve CMMI and Software Engineering Institute (SEI) certifications. Mr. Paul Iredale represented GPI Asia and acted as its Lead Appraiser. GPI Asia was also the one who acted as CMM/CMMI consultants to companies like Reuters UK, EDS, and DHL.
Attaining CMMI Level 3 will enhance WMSL's business development capabilities and demonstrates its level of commitment to excellence in software development and project management. In addition, it would enable the company to achieve its mission to be the best financial and investment software developer in the Asia-Pacific region.
