Wealth Management System Limited (WMSL), a leading consulting and software company in the field of treasury, asset management, and risk management who enjoys number one market share in Thailand, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Securities Research and Training Center of the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SRTC-SSC) on the 27th of May 2008 at the Sofitel Plaza Hanoi. The purpose of the agreement is to provide specialized training programs to local securities and fund management companies' staff and other interested parties.
The MOU was signed by Dr. Dao Le Minh, Director of the Securities Research and Training Center, and Mr. Somkiat Chinthammit, CEO of WMSL. Dr. Mun Patanotai, Minister of ICT Thailand, along with Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh, Director of International Cooperation Department of State Securities Commission of Vietnam, witnessed the said signing.
The signing happened during the event titled “Improve Service Operation Using World-Class Software Solution”. The Department of Export Promotion (DEP) of Thailand, the Ministry of Finance of Thailand, Software Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA), and the Thailand Software Export Promotion Association (TSEP) were the ones that organized the event. The event aims to introduce world-class solutions developed by selected Thai software firms to the Vietnamese market.
