On the 19th of August 2010, Wealth Management System Limited (WMSL), represented by its CEO Mr. Somkiat Chinthammit, attended the signing ceremony of the technical cooperation project between Mahasarakham University (MSU) and Microsoft Thailand. MSU was represented by its President Associate Professor Dr. Supachai Sammapito while Microsoft Thailand was represented by its Managing Director Ms. Patama Chantaruck. The signing recognizes WMSL and Microsoft launching the first regional IT Campus program with a university.
By signing such collaboration, Microsoft Thailand will support the software cost so that the University’s instructors and students can gain access to the latest technologies without incurring a cost for study and research via Live@edu, MSDNAA, and Faculty Connection. They will be able also to attend events such as the Imagine Cup campaign and Microsoft Student Partner (MSP). On the other hand, WMSL, which has a long-standing experience in application software, will support training courses and knowledge sharing to equip the students with Information Technology knowledge thus they can meet the needs of the labor market with IT expertise.
