On the 12th of October 2016, WMSL’s CEO Mr. Somkiat Chinthammit attended the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University event as a panelist on the topic of “Strategies for Startup Business: Lessons learned from Successful Entrepreneurs”. Sasin is an AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accredited business school founded in 1982 through collaboration among Chulalongkorn University and the Kellogg School of Management and the Wharton Business School. Sasin’s research team received funding from Thailand Research Funding Institute to conduct a series of research on the Ageing Society: How to Develop Thailand towards Healthy and Wealthy Nation.
Sasin is the first internationally accredited business school in Thailand and is dedicated to grooming future leaders in the area of sustainability management, a rapidly emerging area of interest around the world. As part of their mission, Sasin needs to conduct seminars to distribute knowledge learned from their research studies and practices learned from Thailand’s renowned business leaders. As WMSL represents one of Thailand’s successful businesses, Sasin has invited Mr. Somkiat to share his case in terms of strategies and steps in conducting a start-up business.
